photo sunday – Rodney Smith
Instead of an editorial today, I thought I’d share some interesting photography. I recently stumbled on Rodney Smith’s work and I totally fell in love with it. He always has a charming, slightly surreal story to tell – and what better story can it be? Beautiful girls suspended in motion in a busy street as if time has stopped. Wonderful scenes set in midst of moody trees that you might just miss if you blinked. Smith’s aesthetic is always dreamy and captivating, as if he’s showing you a window to the workings of his inner thoughts.

P.S. I did really like Serge Leblon’s shoot for AnOther magazine featuring Nimue Smit. Also very dreamy and surreal : ).

Stunning pictures! I especially love the second to last one of the woman with the bike. The trees look like they’re from a Tim Burton movie!
